The Lotte Scholarship Foundation, established in 1983 by Honorary
Chairman Shin Kyuk-ho, contributed his personal wealth.
This is a foundation that embodies the president's deep intention to
enable students with excellent qualifications and abilities to focus on their studies.
Over the past 40 years, the foundation has spent 147milliom USD and supported
over 60,000 students in and outside of Korea so students
could focus on their studies and develop their capabilities to the fullest, regardless of their circumstances.
In line with the foundation's mission of 'warm and prosperous world where
dreams and hopes are shared', the Lotte Scholarship Foundation will strive to open
a prosperous world through various scholarship and welfare projects
to improve the quality of life of the underprivileged and
to foster talents who know the value of sharing.
